Top left planet texture seems somewhat distorted at points, and when compared to the lower right it's not quite spherical. The ring is ok but it doesn't quite emphasise the 3d nature of the planet. I'm guessing you followed greg martins planet creation tutorial for that one looking at the embossing, but i think some more complex features such as clouds could have been used. +dinyctis has a more comprehensive planet tutorial that's worth a gander. Also the outer glow feature of the top left planet could have a colour change, thinking of the brushing colour, the reflectivity of the planet... might do better to echo that colour more than use that purple.
the light diffraction line is a bit too thick really, whilst the flares are done very well, the diffraction is not so good.
Stars are ok, but could be better.... especially if you arranged some clusters, and areas closer to flares looking less with stars than darker areas.
Nice stuff overall webdiod, good to see you trying other genres of art, keep it up
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
